Jon Frederick Gilbert

SOUTH BELOIT – Jon Frederick Gilbert, age 42, of South Beloit and formerly of Rockton passed away peacefully at home in his sleep Friday October 15, 2021. Born in Janesville, WI on June 19, 1979 to Thomas Frederick & Mary Kathryn Gilbert (Huschka). Caring, humorous and personable, Jon loved all animals and held a true passion for music. He definitely enjoyed jamming on his drums with his friends and band-mates. Jon attended Life Church in Roscoe. Beloved father, son, brother and dear friend; he will remain forever in our hearts.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Kaylee Anne Gilbert; mother of his daughter, Stephanie Lindsay; mother, Mary Gilbert; siblings, Lisa (Jim) Rutan, Thomas (Trisha) Gilbert, Julie (Will) Natz and Kristin (Roy) Gilbert; numerous nieces & nephews, cousins and many dear friends. He is predeceased by his father, Thomas F. Gilbert.

Services are Private. Cremation rites accorded. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Memorials to the family.
