Jose Saldana

ROCKFORD – Jose J. Saldana, age 74, of Rockford passed away peacefully at home Sunday April 12, 2020. Born on July 20, 1945 in San José Agua Azul, Guanajuato, Mexico to Esteban & Zenaida Saldana (Rodriguez). Hard working, loving and beloved; husband, father, grandfather, brother and dear friend, he will remain in our hearts forever.

He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Saldana (DeBenedetto); daughters, Felisa (Anthony) Wainwright and Maria Saldana; grandchildren, Brendan, Karlondo, Selena, Jaiden, Niy'onna, Zaniyah, Sa'riah, Kyrie, Kameron and Elianna; and dear friend, Jesse.

Services are Private. Interment at Scandinavian Cemetery, Rockford. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Memorials to the family.
