ROCKFORD – Joseph Christopher Stone, age 46, of Rockford passed away Saturday May 29, 2021. Born in Rockford on March 20, 1975 to Michael P. & Gloria A. Stone (Gonzales). An outgoing charismatic people person and true ladies man, Joe had a contagious smile and a great sense of humor. He enjoyed the great outdoors, fishing, music and managed an extensive movie collection. An excellent cook and grill master, he truly loved preparing his favorite dishes for his family and friends. Beloved father, son, brother, uncle and dear friend; he will remain forever in our hearts.

He is survived by his children, Devin & Giavanna Alongi; mother, Gloria (Dave) Ford; brothers, Robert (Amy) Stone and Tom (Olivia) Stone; uncles, Lloyd Gonzales and Joe (Dee) Gonzales; numerous nieces & nephews; mother of his children, Vanessa Alongi; best friends, Troy Adams, Richard Horton and Chris Short; and numerous beloved friends. He is predeceased by his father, Michael P. Stone; Gonzales & Stone grandparents; and numerous uncles & nieces.

Services are Private. Cremation rites accorded. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Memorials to the family.
