Judy Elaine Lamont

ROCKFORD – Judy Elaine LaMont, age 70, of Rockford passed away peacefully on Sunday April 1, 2018. Born in Rockford on April 25, 1947 to Lester & Margaret Schumacher (Miller). She worked for 37 years at MTE Hydrolics. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and dear friend; she will remain in our hearts forever.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne Melvin LaMont; daughter, Kathy (late Greg) Owen; son, Charles (Mona) Brents Jr.; brother, Gary Schumacher; grandchildren, Dakota, Patrick & Myrissa Owen; great-grandchildren, Alexia, Tre'Marion & Kameron; dear friends, Cheryl (Scott) Boeke & Donna "Carrott". She is predeceased by her parents; siblings, Larry Schumacher, Janet Lindsey, Betty Hepner, Nancy Kipling and Lloyd Schumacher and son-in-law, Greg Owen.

Funeral Services held on Friday April 6, 2018 at 12:00 noon at the Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3 ^rd Avenue, Rockford, IL, with visitation from 10:00 am until the time of services at 12:00 noon. Burial at Willwood Cemetery. Memorials to the family.
