Karen Frances Masingill-Eisman

ROCKFORD – Karen Frances Masingill-Eisman, age 66, of Rockford passed away peacefully Friday December 16, 2022. Born in Chicago, IL on September 25, 1956 to Edwin & Doris Mae Eisman (Dalhstrom). A devoted & faithful follower of Jesus, Karen was the true north, the rock and the light that shined for all to see. She enjoyed darts & shooting pool, but most of all loved spending time with family & friends. Beloved soulmate, mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend; she will remain forever in our hearts.

She is survived by her soulmate, Ed Nye; children, Carl (Nicole) Eisman, Spencer Eisman and Darcie (Ken) Boyd; grandchildren, Joseph "JoJo", Jayidyn "Jadie", Julian "JuJu", Ramon and Elora; siblings, Steve (Marilyn) Eisman Sr. and Danny (Karen) Eisman; numerous nieces & nephews; and beloved cat, Stormy. She is predeceased by her son; Jeremy Masingill; sister, Patti Lewis; father of her sons, Carl "Blue" Bergman; and her parents.

Funeral Services held Wednesday December 21, 2022 at 4:00 pm at the Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3rd Ave., with visitation from 3:00 pm until the time of services at 4:00 pm. Cremation rites accorded. Memorials to the family.
