Karolyn Jean Clark-Huffman

ROCKFORD- Karolyn "Kat" Jean Clark-Huffman, age 48, of Rockford and formerly of Peoria passed away Sunday April 9, 2017. Born in Rockford on May 7, 1968 to Clarence V. & Nancy L. Clark (Cook). She loved traveling, making friends, coloring her poster picture boards and the company of her pets, Zippi & Keetia. Beloved mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend, she will remain in our hearts forever.

She is survived by children, Ashley Clark (Sadikou Ouro Sama) and Branden Crane (Chrissy); grandchildren, Lillian, Za'nyah, Qa'hira, Ka'lana, Ja' nyiah and Jacques "Kaden"; siblings, Kevin Clark (Marsha), Kristy Adams (Toby), Karen Detra (Mike) and Kenny Clark; mother, Nancy Clark; numerous nieces & nephews; special friends, Angelo Afetse, Mani Gagno, Margi and Don Shreve; and beloved cat, Zippi. She is predeceased by father, Clarence V. Clark; brother, Keith Clark; and beloved dog, Keetia.

A Celebration of Life Memorial to be held Saturday May 20, 2017 from 2:30-4:30 pm at Chapelwood Community Church, 3625 Halsted Rd. Cremation rites accorded. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Memorials to the family.
