Larry James Richardson

ROCKFORD – Larry James Richardson AKA"PaPa Pest", age 63, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Saturday June 10, 2017. Born in Rockford on March 25, 1954 to James Cecil & Thelma Richardson (Fountain). A man of few words, his greatest love was camping, music & loving the Lord. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and dear friend, he will remain in our hearts forever.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Cynthia May Richardson (Corirossi); children, Jena (Martin) Thad, Elizabeth Richardson, Cira (Romero) Bennett and Jessica Moyer; grandchildren, Lauren, Micah, David, Landon, Isabella, Mia, Dominick, Camille, Nygel, Bazil, Peppe, Sam; sister, Sheri (Bill) Gratza; brother, Roger (Christy) Richardson; and numerous nieces & nephews. He is predeceased by his parents; sister, Geri Tardio; and brother, Larry Fountain.

Celebration of Life Memorial to be held on Sunday June 18, 2017 at 5:00 PM at Midway Village Chapel, 6799 Guilford Road, Rockford; Open House to follow until 8:00 PM. Cremation rites accorded. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family.
