ROCKFORD - Larry Dean Scharnweber, age 73, of Rockford passed away peacefully Saturday March 23, 2024. Born in Des Moines, IA on June 5, 1950 to Lawrence Boyd & Ruth Lavonne Scharnweber, the oldest of 7 siblings.

He is survived by his mother, Ruth Scharnweber; wife, Diana (Mann) Scharnweber; children, Matthew Scharnweber, Chris (Geniss) Scharnweber and Sarah (Travis) Legge; grandchildren; Hannah, Hailey, Jospeh, Jacob, Natasha, Fiona, Keyser, Lissie and Saylor; numerous great grandchildren; best friend, Maxx; and hundreds of loved ones from across the country. He is predeceased by his father, Lawrence B. Scharnweber; and brother, Scott Scharnweber.

Celebration of Life Open House held Friday March 29, 2024 from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3rd Avenue, Rockford. Cremation rites accorded. Memorials to the Family.
