Leatrice Joy Norwick

WINNEBAGO, IL – Leatrice Joy Norwick, age 91, of Winnebago passed away peacefully to heaven Saturday, June 28, 2025. Born in New Auburn, WI on September 5, 1933 to Benjamin & Viola Lane (Dutton). The youngest of 9 children, she had a strong faith in the Lord Jesus. Her faith brought her through many struggles in life and gave her a kind and gentle soul. She loved her family so dearly. Always helping and supporting everyone. Animals gave her so much joy. She had many dogs throughout her life, Tootles her Boston Terrier was one of her favorites. Wonderful cook and phenomenal baker, she was so dearly loved. It's impossible to sum up her life in just a few words, she leaves us to cherish wonderful memories.

She is survived by daughters, Debra (Ted) Iverson and Tammy (late Robert) Clay; grandchildren, Justin (Susan) Iverson and Chad (Alarise) Clay; 10 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Maynard Norwick; her parents; 8 siblings; and son-in-law, Robert Clay.

Celebration of Life Memorial held at a later date. Cremation rites accorded. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Memorials to the family.
