Lillie Mae Bonacquisti

ROCKFORD – Lillie Mae Bonacquisti, age 92, of Rockford passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family Thursday December 22, 2022. Born in Kewanee, IL on December 16, 1930 to William & Florence Hoye (Gibson). Selfless, quick-witted and at times, inappropriately funny, Lillie never wanted to miss out on the small pleasures of life. She loved shopping and finding bargains at garage sales, and most of all enjoyed spending time with her family, her true pride & joy. Beloved soulmate, mother, grandmother and best friend; she will remain forever in our hearts.

She is survived by son, Dennis (Diane) Bonacquisti; granddaughter, Jenna (Darek) Gawronski; great grandson, Garrett Gawronski; sister-in-law, Sylvia Bonne; mother of her granddaughter and dear friend, Julie (Don) Carroll; and numerous nieces & nephews. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Vincent Bonacquisti; sisters, Ellen (Harry) Krause, Betty (Harry) Fairbanks and Erma (Bob) Folger; nephew, David Harradon; and several brothers & sisters-in-law.

Funeral Services held Thursday December 29, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3rd Ave., with visitation from 10:00 am until the time of services at 11:00 am. Interment at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Rockford. Memorials to the family.
