Lisa Yeruski

ROCKFORD – Lisa Yeruski, age 58, of Rockford passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family Monday October 21, 2024. Born in Rockford on February 4, 1966 to Richard Grant & Anita Ballinger (Sciortino). Lisa enjoyed fishing & camping in the great outdoors, attending concerts of all types of music, rooting for her Pittsburgh Steelers and testing her luck at the slot machines. She lived for her family; cooking, planning get-togethers, decorating the house for every holiday and spoiling her grand babies any chance she could get. She loved shopping, movies, online games and could never pass up a great deal or super sale. Beloved wife, mother, Nana, sister and dear friend; she will remain forever in our hearts.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 28 years; John Yeruski; children, Steve (Brooke) St. John, Lindsey (Lewis Hardin) Finkenhofer, Brian (Tiffany) Winkler and Kyle Yeruski; grandchildren, Josiah, Adelyn, Gage & Annalisa St. John, Haley & CJ Finkenhofer, Landon Hardin and Morgan & Natalie Winkler; sisters, Deanna (Tom) Ward and Joanne Barrett; special niece, Stephanie (fiancé Ben Kane) Ward; cherished cousin, Cathy (Gary) Kuntzelman; best friend, Debbi Hood; as well as numerous other loved nieces & nephews; cousins; dear friends; and many beloved animals . She is predeceased by her parents .

Funeral Services held Monday October 28, 2024 at 11:30 am at the Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3rd Ave., Rockford, with visitation from 10:30 am until the time of service at 11:30 am. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Rockford. Memorials to the family.
