Lloyd T. Cobb

MINONK, IL – Lloyd T. Cobb, age 80, of Minonk, IL and formerly of Chicago passed away peacefully at home Tuesday March 24, 2020. Born in Piedmont, AL on February 27, 1940 to John E. & Naiomi A. Cobb (Galloway). A proud Veteran of the US Marine Corps and the US Army. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and dear friend, he will remain forever in our hearts.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jeannine Cobb (Covey); children, Raymond Cobb, Tandy (Olan) Morris and Justin (Toni) Cobb; grandchildren, Quentin, Benjamin, Christopher, Ross, Steven and Tracy; great grandchildren, Kaylynn, Kaylie, Ryliegh, Olivea, Avery and Levi; sisters, Vicky (Jim) Lindsey and Gloria (late Cliff) Lindsey; as well as numerous nieces & nephews. He is predeceased by his parents; son, Quentin James Cobb, grandson, Jeffrey Brauer; siblings, John, Faye and Audrey; and and beloved dog, Flap Jack.

Services are Private. Celebration of Life Memorial to be held at a later date. Cremation rites accorded. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Memorials to the family.
