Louise Patricia Davis

ROCKFORD – Louise P. "Weeze" Davis (Bublich), age 73, of Rockford and formerly of the East Side of Chicago passed away peacefully Thursday April 13, 2023 with her loving daughter and son-in-law by her side. Born in Chicago on September 1, 1949 the daughter of Mike & Ann Bublich (Dagnillo). She worked for many years and retired from PCI Pharma Services. Louise was fun & witty, a ball of laughs, fantastic cook and avid animal lover.

Loving mother of Jennifer (Brian Bursell) Davis; beloved sister of Michaeline (Andy) Staresinich and Lennette Bublich; fond aunt of Nick (Meghan) Staresinich and Samantha (Dale) Murzyn; great aunt to Monroe & Shawn Staresinich and Macksen & Camryn Murzyn; also survived by many great cousins & dear friends; and faithful companion of her beloved dog, Minnie. Predeceased by her parents, Mike & Ann Bublich.

A Special Thanks to her Care Teams in the last year at Cancer Treatment Centers of America/ City of Hope (Chicago) in Zion, IL; Serenity Hospice & Home in Oregon, IL; and Generations at Neighbors in Byron, IL.

Funeral Services held Saturday April 22, 2023 at 12:00 noon at the Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3rd Ave., Rockford, with visitation from 10:00 am until the time of services at 12:00 noon. Cremation rites accorded. In lieu of flowers, Memorials to Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary, 111 N 1st St, Rockford, IL 61107.
