Lucia F. Villanueva

ROCKFORD – Lucia F. Villanueva, age 61, of Rockford and formerly of San Antonio, TX passed away peacefully on Monday February 19, 2018. Born in San Antonio, TX. on January 12, 1957 to Evaristo Flores & Frances Perez (Martinez). Lucia had a great sense of humor, and was very dedicated to her family being a wife, mother and grandmother. She loved attending church, reading and collecting "Betty Boop" memorabilia. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and dear friend; she will remain in our hearts forever.

She is survived by her husband, Julio; mother, Frances Perez; 3 grandchildren; siblings, Elaine (Jesus) Barajas, Anne Vasquez, Linda (Doug Smith) Vera, Mark Flores, Scott Flores, Evaristo Flores, Patrick Flores and Lisa (Kevin B. Combs) Perez; brother-in-law, Filemon Manriquez; along with numerous nieces & nephews. She is predeceased by her father, Evaristo Flores & sister, Frances Manriquez.

Funeral services held on Saturday February 24, 2018 at 3:00 PM at the Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3rd Ave, with visitation from 1:00 PM until the time of services at 3:00 PM. Cremation rites accorded. Memorials to the family.
