Lucille Gertrude Lesniewski

BYRON – Lucille Gertrude Lesniewski, age 84, of Byron passed away peacefully on Saturday October 13, 2018. Born in her home in Chicago on May 4, 1934 to Walter & Helen Krueger (Babczak). She worked at Holy Cross Hospital and the Mother house in Chicago. She attended St. Mary's Church in Byron, IL. Beloved mother, grandmother, sister aunt and dear friend; she will remain in our hearts forever.

She is survived by children, Susie (Hobbs) Breytspraak & Daniel (Nora) Lesniewski; 2 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Sister Mary Augusta & Helen (late Frank) Lucas; sister-in-law, Dorothy Krueger; and many nieces & nephews. She is predeceased by her parents; brother, Herman & Mickey Krueger; sister-in-law, Delores Krueger.

Celebration of Life held on Saturday October 27, 2018 from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm, with lunch provided at 12 noon, at Generations at Neighbors Nursing Home, 811 West 2nd Street Byron IL. Cremation rites accorded. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Memorials to the family.
