Maria R. Coss De Flores

ROCKFORD – Maria Reyna Coss De Flores, age 92, of Rockford passed away peacefully surrounded by family Sunday April 12, 2020. Born January 6, 1928 in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico to Pedro Coss & Eloisa Bursiaga. Faithful, wholesome and loving in all her ways, Maria enjoyed creating beautiful flower arrangements, cooking delicious meals and was a talented seamstress. She was a great listener and always shared her sage advice and wisdom. Beloved mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend; she will remain forever in our hearts.

She is survived by her children, Armando (Antonia) Flores, Mario (Juanna) Flores, Ariel (Rosa) Flores and Maria Maricela (Ruben) Palafox; many grandchildren & great grandchildren; brothers, Pedro & Jesus; sister, Eloisa & Lucha; numerous nieces & nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Mario Flores; son, Joel Flores; and many brothers & sisters.

Services are Private. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery, Rockford. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Memorials to the family.
