Marion Frances Johnson

ROCKFORD- Marion Frances Johnson, age 92, of Rockford passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 10, 2018. Born in Rockford on March 15, 1925 to Carl L. & Georgia Marie Nelson (Sundeen). A devoted mother, sister and loving grandma; she will remain in our hearts forever.

She is survived by her son, Craig (Susan) Johnson; sister, Vera Avery; grandchildren, Angela (Chet) Parker and Amber Johnson; great-grandchildren, Lucy and Theodore Parker; nieces & nephews, Lisa Atzert, Michael Avery, Brad Bartkus. She is predeceased by her parents, Carl & Georgia Nelson; brothers, Walter and Gerald Nelson; and sister, Norma (Peter) Bartkus.

Funeral Services held Saturday January 13, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3rd Avenue, with visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of services at 11:00 AM. Interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Machesney Park. Memorials to the family.
