ROCKFORD - Matthew Richard Bielski, 36, of Rockford passed away Tuesday December 29, 2020. Born
September 12, 1984 in Rockford. Son of Craig and Becky Bielski. Matt was a proud driver of
Haas Towing. He always volunteered to show his truck off in parades, truck shows, Toys for
Tots and 18 Wheels For Bubba. He loved his "Sir Bielski" truck. He was also a proud father of his
son Jake Bielski. Jake and his truck was his world. Matt also adored his nieces and nephews;
Amelia, Hannah, Dylan, Jonah, Miriam, Luke, and Uriah. Matt loved taking his momma dear to
see his favorite reggae bands. He also spent Sundays watching football with his brother Mikey.
His all-time favorite team was Seattle Seahawks. Matt always talked about his older sister
Melissa (Melonhead) and her crew. He couldn't wait to travel down to visit them in Florida. The 3
M's are very close. He grew up racing dirt bikes and working on them with his dad. There wasn't
anything that Matt couldn't fix or do. Matt also loved to make sure that he either visited or talked
with his Granny every day. They were very close and had a special bond. Granny always calls
Matt her special buddy. Matt loved life and lived it to the fullest.
Matt is survived by his parents, Craig and Becky Bielski; son, Jake Bielski; sister, Melissa
(Matthew) Beckley; brother, Michael (Faith) Bielski; special nieces, Hannah, Miriam and Amelia;
special nephews, Dylan, Jonah, Luke, and Uriah; his granny,
Loretta Robinett; and grandma, Georgie Bielski; many aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends
from Haas Towing and My Place. He is predeceased by his grandfathers, Richard DuSavage
and Robert Bielski; very special aunties, Roberta, Sydney and Anita; and uncle, Gary
DuSavage.
Celebration of Life held Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 10am-12pm at Christenson Funeral
Home, 925 3rd Ave, Rockford. Friends are also invited for a luncheon afterwards at Granny's
house. Memorials may be made to the family.
