Merry Robyn Urrea-Stuthers

ROCKFORD - Merry Robyn Urrea-Stuthers, age 64, of Rockford passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Friday July 28, 2017 after a short-lived battle with cancer. Born in Rockford on June 10, 1953 to Francis "Jack" Urrea & Joanne Bea. She graduated college with a Bachelor's degree but was led by her heart to work at Milestone as a CNA for many years. She held a special place in her heart for the people she worked with. Beloved mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend, she will remain in our hearts forever.

Survived by her husband, Clifford Stuthers; daughter, Joanne (Shane) Keller; son, Clifford (Carol) Stuthers; grandchildren, Dylan & Caitlin Vaughan and Alex & Jocyln Stuthers; great grandchildren, Braeden & Adele Vaughan; sisters, Lisa (Steve) Smedley and Amy Jenkins; and many other important family and friends. She is predeceased by her parents, Joanne Green (Bea) and Frances "Jack" Urrea; brother, John (Brian) Urrea; and her grandparents.

Celebration of Life Memorial to be held on Saturday August 5, 2017 at 12:00 noon at Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3 ^rd Ave., Rockford, with visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of services at noon. Cremation rites accorded. Memorials to the family.
