ROCKFORD – Michael Alan Sowl, age 36, of Rockford passed away Monday September 27, 2021. Born in Rockford on March 20, 1985 to Louise Sowl.

He is survived by his mother, Louise (Roger) Collins; children, Michael II, Kaylee and Jayda; sisters, Jessica (Myron) Hayenga, Theresa (Matt) Hayenga and Chris (Charles) Hayenga; aunts & uncles, Deanna (Steve) Ottens and Leroy (Cindy) Sowl; grandparents, Don & Cheryl Sowl; great grandma, Babe Sowl; as well as numerous aunts & uncles, nieces & nephews, cousins and many dear friends. He is predeceased by his grandparents, Carol & Arlond Stroud; uncle, Don Sowl III; and cousin, Nick Sowl.

Funeral Services held Sunday October 10, 2021 from 12:00 noon – 3:00 pm at the Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3rd Avenue, Rockford. Cremation rites accorded. Memorials to the family.
