Oscar Guzman Jimenez

ROCKFORD- Oscar Guzman Jimenez, age 64, of Rockford passed away Thursday March 23, 2017. Born in Allende, Coahuila on June 17, 1952 to Margarito & Englatina Jimenez (Guzman). He worked at Ingersoll Milling for 25 years. He loved to watch the Chicago Cubs and enjoyed listening to music of one of his favorite,Vicente Fernandez. Beloved husband, father, grandfather and uncle, he will remain in our hearts forever.

He is survived by his wife, Irma C. Jimenez; children, Irma M. Jimenez, Oscar J. Jimenez, Luis A. Jimenez and Veronica (Fernando) Guerrero; grandchildren, Marisol, Victoria, Fernando Jr., Avianna and Fabian; several nieces & nephews; and brother and sister-in-laws. He is predeceased by his parents; siblings, Ramon Jimenez, Jesus Jimenez, Margarita (Jimenez) Chavez, Julio Jimenez and Maria (Jimenez) Lira.

Funeral Services to be held Friday March 31, 2017 at Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3 ^rd Ave., at 12:00 noon, with visitation from 10:00 am until time of service. Internment at Calvary Cemetery. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Memorials to the family.
