In Loving Memory of Paula Hunt
Forever in Our Hearts
Paula Hunt was born on April 5, 1963, in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She passed away on October 11, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, and love that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
Paula was a funny, caring, and hardworking woman who took pride in everything she did. She enjoyed the outdoors, spending time around her pool, watching the Cubs, and making memories with her family. She loved music and taught herself how to play the guitar. She also enjoyed playing darts and pool and was always eager to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it.
Paula had a special way of bringing laughter into people's lives through her humor and the stories she shared. Even the animals seemed to have a special connection with her, which was funny because Paula wasn't always too fond of them! Her personality, her stories, and the moments shared with her will be treasured forever.
Paula is survived by her daughter, Tia Hunt; her father, Leroy (Irene) Hunt; her beloved grandchildren, Dominic and Isabella; her siblings, Pamela Johnson, Leroy Jr. (Tina) Hunt, and Steve (Christina) Hunt; her dear aunt, Bobbi Buskohl; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Doris Hunt.
Paula will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and everyone whose life she touched. Her laughter, love of music, generous heart, and unforgettable stories will live on through the people who loved her. Though she is no longer with us, the memories she created and the love she gave will never fade.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2026 at 3:00 pm at the Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3rd Ave., Rockford, with visitation from 12:00 noon until the time of services at 3:00 pm. Cremation rites accorded. Memorials to the Family.
Forever loved, forever remembered, and forever missed.
