Pedro Campos

ROCKFORD – Pedro Campos, age 72, of Rockford passed away peacefully Monday July 29, 2024. Born in Mexico City, MX on April 7, 1952 to Martin & Alicia Campos (Gomez). A proud member of Iglesia Arca de Salvacion Church, Pedro enjoyed attending weekly services. He worked as a chef for many years and loved cooking for family and friends. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren, his true pride and joy. Beloved husband, father, grandfather and dear friend; he will remain forever in our hearts.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Margarita Campos (Ramirez); children, Hector Campos, Alma (Gilberto Duran) Campos, Marco Campos and Josue Campos; grandchildren, Emmanuel, Alondra, Angie, Perla, Elizabeth, Adrian, Emiliano, Leilanie, Mauricio, Yair, Fatima and Alia; great granddaughter, Keiry. He is predeceased by his parents.

Funeral Services held Saturday August 3, 2024 at 12:00 noon at Iglesia Arca de Salvacion Church, 3015 Ridge Ave, Rockford, with visitation from 11:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 noon. Interment at Scandinavian Cemetery, Rockford. Friends may visit with the family on Friday August 2, 2024 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3rd Avenue, Rockford.
