Penny Bauer

ROCKFORD – Penny Bauer, age 54, of Rockford passed away Saturday August 24, 2019. Born in Rockford on April 24, 1965 to Margaret Hayes. Penny was a proud and active member of Living Word Ministries in Loves Park. Beloved mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend; she will remain in our hearts forever.

She is survived by her children, Philip (Heather Hardin) Northrup, Paul Northrup and Darvis Northrup; grandchildren, Hayden, Brysen and Hunter Northrup; siblings, Rosie Witt, Linda (Robert) Hall, Margaret (Bruce) Tucker, Tina (Anthony) Logan-Olson and Charles Hollingsworth; numerous nieces & nephews; many dear friends at Living Word Ministries; and beloved dogs, Zadie & Debo. She is predeceased by her mother, Margaret Shock (Hayes); and brothers, Robert and Thomas R. Hollingsworth.

Funeral Services held Friday August 30, 2019 at 6:30 PM at the Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3 ^rd Avenue, with visitation from 4:30 PM until the time of service at 6:30 PM. Cremation rites accorded. Memorials to the family.
