Purlene Robles

ROCKFORD- Purlene Robles, age 75, of Rockford passed away Friday June 9, 2017. Born in Dell, AR on May 3, 1942 to Willie & Florida Spillers (Chapman). Purlene accepted Christ at an early age in Chicago, IL & faithfully attended the Church of God. Purlene was joined in Holy Matrimony to Alberto Robles on May 21, 1971. She was a good wife, homemaker, hairdresser and keypunch operator. She had many talents & a good heart. Purlene touched many lives and will be truly missed.

Purlene leaves to cherish her memory; husband, Alberto Robles; sons, Willie, Micheal & Lawerence Dean, Raymond (Susan) Fontanez and Sergio Dean; sisters, Beatrice & Diane; 17 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. She is predeceased by son, Carl Dean; sisters, Bennicie Walker & Ruby Jackson; and brothers, Alfred & Raymond Spillers.

Funeral Services to be held Saturday June 17, 2017 at 12:00 noon at Christenson Funeral Home. 925 3 ^rd Ave., with visitation from 10:00 am until time of service at 12:00 noon. Interment at Scandinavian Cemetery. Memorials to the family.
