Randall Allen Saltzberg

ROCKFORD - Randall Allen Saltzberg, age 70, of Rockford, IL and formerly of Morton Grove, IL passed away Friday, May 15, 2026. Born in Park Ridge, IL on October 1, 1955 to Leonard & Audrey (Sach) Saltzberg. In his younger years, Randy had a taste for adventure, exploration and personal success. He loved cars, boats and motorcycles, as well as fireworks. In addition to various sales related jobs through his lifetime, he was an entrepreneur and small business owner. Beloved father, grandfather, brother and dear friend, he will remain forever in our hearts.

He is survived by children, Ryan Saltzberg and Melissa Lundy; 3 grandchildren; sisters, Suzy Andrews and Lynd Slaybaugh; and aunt, Bette. He is predeceased by his parents.

Celebration of Life Memorial and family prayer services are Private. Cremation rites accorded. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, spread love to others with a random act of kindness.
