Richard "Rick" Lee Parrovechio

ROCKFORD – Richard "Rick" Lee Parrovechio, age 65, of Rockford passed away Thursday May 30, 2024. Born in Rockford on November 28, 1958 to Samuel Salvatore & Josephine Geraldine Parrovechio (DiGirolomo). An avid sports fan, Rick enjoyed rooting for the Cubs and Packers. Chicago Cubs baseball was his ultimate love, often never missing a game on the TV or tuning in on the radio. Beloved husband, uncle and dear friend, he will remain forever in our hearts.

He is survived by his life long friend and beloved wife of 45 years, Colleen Cheri Parrovechio (Lane); nieces & nephews, Nick, Kayla, Morgan, Leah and Christopher; numerous great nieces & nephews; many dear friends; and beloved dog, Biscotti. He is predeceased by his parents, siblings, John & Joanne; and beloved Jack Russell Terrier, Penny Lane.

Funeral Services held Thursday June 6, 2024 at 7:00 pm at the Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3rd Ave., Rockford with visitation from 5:00 pm until the time of service at 7:00 pm. Cremation rites accorded. Memorials to the family.
