Ricky Lynn Terrell

ROCKFORD – Ricky Lynn Terrell, age 65, of Rockford passed away peacefully Monday June 27, 2022. Born in Poinsett County, AR on August 30, 1956 to Paul Emanuel & Essie Lonnie Terrell (Rodgers). An avid fisherman, Ricky loved spending time with family & friends. Beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and dear friend; he will remain forever in our hearts.

He is survived by his children, Stefanie (Eric) Whitney, Ricky (Bobbi) Brown and Jonathan Terrell; grandchildren, Kylie (Austin) VonHolten, Payton Fitzsimmons, Ava & Evalyn Whitney, LaRyan, Kama, Anisia, Ceteva, Zaria, Magdalena Brown and Nathan Terrell; great grandchildren, Brinleigh, Kenzleigh, Jeremy and Hayden; sister, Linda (Steve) Kramer; brother-in-law, Mike Wilson; and numerous nieces & nephews, great and great-great nieces & nephews; and many dear friends. He is predeceased by his grandson, Ricky C. Brown Jr.; loves of his life, Melody K. Gitchel and Patricia Luy; brother, Virgil E.Terrell; sisters, Paula Wilson, Betty Sanford and Barb Smith; step father, Sam Albano; and his parents.

Celebration of Life Memorial Picnic held Sunday July 17, 2022 from 12:00 noon until dusk at Kishwaukee Forest Preserve, 5757 Blackhawk Road, Rockford. Cremation rites accorded. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Memorials to the family.
