Robert Lee Keinz

ROCKFORD – Robert Lee Keinz, age 79, of Rockford passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 25, 2026. Born in Rockford on June 10, 1947 to Adolph & Verna Jean Keinz (Beattie). An avid car enthusiast, Bob loved collecting, restoring and working on classic cars and hot rods. He enjoyed tinkering in the garage on his many projects, playing the lotto and never missing the latest episode of The Curse of Oak Island. Beloved father, grandpa, uncle and dear friend; he will remain forever in our hearts.

He is survived by his sons, Chris (Carrie) Keinz and Ronald Keinz; grandchildren, Ethan & Brandon; brothers, Rick, Mike and Norm; numerous nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. He is predeceased by his beloved wife of 54 years, Patricia Ann Keinz (Dobratz); grandson, Donavan James Keinz; siblings, Tom, Pat, Paul, Dorothy, Kathy, John and Dorothea; and his parents.

Services are Private. Cremation rites accorded. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Memorials to the family.
