ROCKFORD - Roger John Merrill, age 63, of Rockford passed away peacefully on Wednesday March 13, 2019. Born in Chicago, IL on April 11, 1953 to Ralph & Virginia Merrill (Patka). Beloved husband, brother and dear friend; he will remain in our hearts forever.
He is survived by wife, Jennie Merrill; son, Thomas Merrill; brother, Dr. Stephen Merrill; step-sons, RJ & Steven Marinas; and several grandchildren, nieces & nephews. He is predeceased by his parents.
Services are private. Cremation rites accorded. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Memorials to the family.
