Roger Dean Netherton

LOVES PARK – Roger Dean Netherton, age 62, of Loves Park passed away on Wednesday June 14, 2017. Born in Peoria, IL on July 14, 1954 to Warren Clark & Bertha May "Grace" (Pisel) Netherton. Roger was a friendly neighbor, who loved animals, tennis, and golf. He was an avid reader who enjoyed a good book. Beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and dear friend, he will remain in our hearts forever.

He is survived by children, Sarah Netherton, Bekah (Jordan) Steffler, and Andrew Netherton; grand-children, Clark & Gavin Steffler; mother, Grace Netherton; siblings, Jan (late Walt) Kling, Michael (Laura) Netherton; several nieces & nephews and many dear friends. He is predeceased by his father.

Celebration of Life Memorial to be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Thursday June 22, 2017 at Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3 ^rd Ave. Cremation rites accorded. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Memorials to the family.
