Ronald Michael Bergman

ROCKFORD – Ronald Michael Bergman, age 53, of Rockford passed away peacefully Friday August 27, 2021. Born in Evanston, IL on February 18, 1968 and adopted by Robert E. & JoAnn E. Bergman (Sullivan). An avid bowler, Ron enjoyed competing in tournaments and held numerous 300 and 800 game rings. He loved tinkering in the yard, watching NASCAR and catching the latest episode of Gold Rush. His true pride & joy was spending time with his children and grandchildren. Beloved husband, father, grandpa, brother and dear friend; he will remain forever in our hearts.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Terry Bergman (Harris); daughter, Alexis Bergman; stepson, Jeremy (Katie) Rice; grandchildren, Legacy Romani Ford; Demi, Avery & Rykin Rice; mother-in-law, Bonnie Harris; brother, Jerry Bergman; nephew, Justin Bergman; aunts, Janie (Roger) Frank and Arthur (Kathy) Metcalf; cousins, Steven Frank, Christine (Andy) Franklin, Kimberly Metcalf and Arthur Metcalf; dear friend, Joella Anderson; as well as numerous cherished friends & neighbors. He is predeceased by his parents; and beloved dog, Niffy.
