ROCKFORD – Ronald Edward McGrail, age 75, of Rockford passed away peacefully at home Friday November 19, 2021. Born in Chicago, IL on October 3, 1946 to Richard McGrail and Delores Restis. Ron enjoyed the music of Elvis Presley and watching his favorite Westerns. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and dear friend; he will remain forever in our hearts.

He is survived by his wife of 6 years, Joanne Rose Hermeling-McGrail (Geffe); daughter; Salena McGrail (Christopher Pumilia); son, Curtis (Nikki) McGrail; grandchildren, Kaylee, Tyler, Rebekah, Joseph and Shawn; great grandchildren, Amelia, Cory Jr. and Lani; brother, Richard McGrail; and beloved cat and dog; Kitty & Loverboy. He is predeceased by his father, Richard McGrail; mother, Delores Peterson; brother, James McGrail; and mother of his children, Joyce McGrail (Hardy).
