Ruth Ann Ross

ROCKFORD – Ruth Ann Ross, age 69, of Rockford passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family Friday November 16, 2018. Born in Newport, AR on January 2, 1949 to Ernest "Ernie" L. & Mildred "Millie" Ross. An artist at heart, she enjoyed interior decorating, collecting paintings and had a sweet tooth for chocolate cake, long-johns and cookies. Ruth had a great sense of humor and described herself as "the nicest person anybody could meet!" Beloved mother, daughter, grandmother, sister and dear friend; she will remain in our hearts forever.


She is survived by children, Kerrie (Alan) Boyle & Tony Paolucci; mother, Millie Ross; sister, Debbie Rainwater; grandchildren, Alexandra Carnell, Presley & Derek Paolucci; great-granddaughter, Valentina Carnell; niece, Michelle (fiance James Horsley) Rainwater; and her furbaby, Zoe. She is predeceased by her father and husband, Ronald Wielgorecki.


Services are private. Cremation rites accorded. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Memorials to the family.
