ROCKFORD – Sandra Kay Gutierrez, age 64, of Rockford passed away peacefully Wednesday January 19, 2022. Born in Knoxville, TN on August 30, 1957 to Jack & Evelyn Colquitt Sr. (Ott). Beloved wife, mother, sister and dear friend; she will remain forever in our hearts.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 15 years, Alberto Gutierrez; son, Jessie Powell (Jennifer Blackman); sisters, Cathy (Gary) Wesemann, Jacqueline Clay; Lisa (Knot) Sctakoun, Pam (Doug) Meenet and Faith (Steven) Bennett; former spouse and father of her son, Ernest Powell; as well as numerous nieces & nephews. She is predeceased by her daughter, Tabitha Powell; mother, Evelyn Neal; father, Jack Colquitt Sr.; and brothers, Jack and Wendell Colquitt.

Services are Private. Cremation rites accorded. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family.
