Shaun Sawtelle

ROCKFORD – Brian Shaun Lee Sawtelle "Shaun", age 40, of Rockford passed away Sunday July 19, 2020. Born in Rockford on December 16, 1979 to Brian Darwin Sawtelle & Tina Hollingsworth. Outgoing, kind and approachable, Shaun never met a stranger. He loved his music, sports, a good book and working on his cars. Beloved father, son, grandfather, brother and dear friend; he will remain forever in our hearts.

He is survived by his children, Destiny (Brian Huntley) Johnson-Sawtelle and Dylen (Ashley) Anderson; grandchildren, Natasha & Kyzer; mother, Tina (Anthony) Logan-Olson; father, Brian (Lori) Sawtelle; brothers, Todd (Ana Paula) Hollingsworth, JR Smith, Carl Smith and Roger (Savannah) Nufer; sister, Michelle McLelland; and aunt, Veronica (Roni) McIntoush. He is predeceased by his brothers, Scotty Hollingsworth, Michael Nufer and Trent Logan; and his grandparents.

Funeral Services held Wednesday July 29, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3 ^rd Avenue, Rockford, with visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of services at 11:00 AM. Cremation rites accorded. Memorials to the family.
