Spring Thompson

ROCKFORD - Spring D. Thompson (1977-2018) Loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, wife and friend; left us to go to her heavenly home on Oct. 18, 2018 in Rockford, IL.

Spring was born Mar. 7, 1977 in Rockford to Bradley and Shelley (Brady) Thompson. Spring married Bradley Erwin, Jr. Dec. 6, 2017 in Pollock, MO.

Spring was the perfect example of a lot in a small package. She had a beautiful smile and a contagious laugh that was undeniable. Spring never met anyone that didn't become her friend, she loved helping others, and she had a heart of gold. She was an avid football fan that also enjoyed music, camping, fishing, cooking and most of all spending time with her daughter Alyzabeth and her family.

Spring is survived by her daughter Alyzabeth Malmgren (Daniel Malmgren) of Loves Park; her husband Bradley Erwin, Jr. of Rockford; parents Bradley Thompson of Rockford and Shelley Thompson of Loves Park; sister Felicia (Doug) Hessong of Machesney Park; and her grandmother Shirley Thompson of Loves Park; along with numerous beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends including longtime friend and ex-husband Jason Corbin.

Services will be Sunday, Oct. 28, 2018 in the commons area of Concordia Lutheran Church, 7424 N. Second St., Machesney Park, IL – Visitation is at 1:00 pm, Service at 2:00 pm with a Celebration of Life following until 5:00 pm.

There will be a private burial on Monday, Oct.29, 2018.
