Terese Jerome

FREEPORT – Terese I. Jerome, age 49, of Freeport, IL and formerly of Rockford, IL passed away peacefully Friday February 5, 2021. Born in Rockford on June 15, 1971 and raised by Shelia Hoffman (Turnmire) and Billy Jo Marshall. Terese loved spending time with her grandchildren, her true pride and joy. Beloved companion, mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend; she will remain forever in our hearts.

She is survived by her loving companion, Ray Watson; son, Jamas (fiance Amanda Leonard) Pope; daughters, Brianna & Sehrra Watson; grandchildren, Andrew, Spencer, Ethan and Rileigh; brother, Sean Jerome; step-brother, Bob Audrey; uncle, Roger Turnmire; cousins, Ken (Sara) Bienash; and her beloved chihuahuas. She is predeceased by aunts, Patty & Donal; and her parents.

Celebration of Life Memorial held at a later date. Cremation rites accorded. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Memorials to the family.
