Thomas Edward Graydon

ROCKFORD – Thomas Edward Graydon, age 72, of Rockford and formerly of Davenport, IA passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family Sunday March 8, 2020. Born in Bancroft, IA on February 22, 1948 to William & Leola Graydon (Nemmers). A proud Veteran of the US Navy, Thomas enjoyed bowling, online computer gaming and NASCAR. He truly loved spending time camping and fishing in the great outdoors. Beloved husband, father, grandfather and dear friend; he will remain forever in our hearts.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Kathleen A. Graydon (Bowen); children, Brandy Graydon and Thomas A. Graydon; grandchildren, Jessica Graydon and Kaylee Moe; siblings, Richard "Dick" (Dee) Graydon and Barbara (late Steve) Baldwin; numerous nieces & nephews; and beloved cat, Norman. He is predeceased by his parents; and sister, Patricia (GB) Owens.

Celebration of Life Memorial held Friday March 13, 2020 at 1:00 PM at the Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3 ^rd Avenue, with visitation from 11:00 AM until the time of services at 1:00 PM. Cremation rites accorded. Memorials to the family.
