Timothy R. Johnston

LOVESPARK- Timothy Ryan Johnston, age 45, of Loves Park and formerly of Chicago and Elgin passed away peacefully Saturday April 22, 2017. Born in Rockford on August 15, 1971 to James M. & Catherine L. Johnston Sr (Flanagan). Timothy loved spending his time staging and decorating spaces for major retail stores and people's homes in the Rockford and Chicago areas. Beloved partner, son, brother, uncle and dear friend, he will remain in our hearts forever.

He is survived by his partner of 9 years; Scott A. Gould; mother, Catherine (Harold) Frantz; father, James (Betty) Johnston Sr; brother, James M. (Michelle) Johnston Jr; nephew, James M. Johnston III; niece, Meghan Johnston; birth mother, Mona (Tim) Richmond & family; many dear friends; beloved cat, Max and step-cat, Spooky. He is predeceased by his aunt, Nora Dixon.

A Celebration of Life Memorial and Potluck to be held at Indian Springs Shelter House, Blackhawk Springs Forest Preserve, 5360 Mulford Road, Cherry Valley Il. 61016 on Friday July 14, 2017 from 3:00 PM until sunset.
