Tyler Cook

ROCKFORD – William Tyler Cook, age 35, of Rockford went to heaven with the Lord Tuesday April 20, 2021. Born in Rockford on May 28, 1985 to William Earl Cook & Marcellyn Harnitz. A proud owner & operator of We Cut Lawn Care & Sons, Tyler truly enjoyed spending time with the loves of his life; his boys and took great pride in tending his exotic herb gardens. Beloved father, son, brother, uncle and dear friend, he will remain forever in our hearts.

He is survived by sons, Charles "Charlie" Paul Cook and Joseph "JoJo" Hunter Cook; mother, Marcellyn "Marcy" Harnitz; stepmother, Katherine Bennett; sister, Christina Bang-Cook; nephew, Logan; former fiance and mother of his children, Cheri Robles; special uncle & aunt, Rick and Carol Cook; lifelong dear friends, Matt and Saun; special companion, Joanna McGuire; and beloved cats, John, Morgan and Mittens. He is predeceased by his father, William Earl Cook.

Celebration of Life Memorial held Wednesday April 28, 2021 at 3:30 pm at the Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3 ^rd Ave, with visitation from 2:30 pm until the time of services at 3:30 pm. Cremation rites accorded. Memorials to the family.
