Valree Ann Hart

ROCKFORD – Valree Ann Hart, age 62, of Rockford passed away peacefully surrounded by family Monday, February 3, 2025. Born in Maine Township, Cook County, IL on July 14, 1962 to William Henry & Margaret Ann Hart II (Campbell). Val worked as a mixer for Testor Corp from 1995-2020. Beloved mother, grand & great grandma "Gigi", daughter, sister, soulmate and dear friend; she will remain forever in our hearts.

She is survived by her longtime partner, Thomas Doyle Sr.; sons, Dallas M. Doyle and Houston M. (Missi) Doyle; grandchildren, Desaree, Austin, Anthony, Alana, Abbie and Dallas Jr.; great grandchildren, Lucianna, Laylani, Delilah and Danmonta; mother, Margaret Ann Schwanke; sister, Dawn Hart; brother, John Hart; numerous nieces & nephews; and many dear friends. She is predeceased by her son, Garriette McVay; brother, William Henry Hart III; sister, Peggy Lynn "Sissy" Thompson; and her father, William Henry Hart II.

Celebration of Life Memorial held Sunday, March 9, 2025 from 12 noon - 4 pm at the Rockton community Center, 302 West Main Street, Rockton, IL  61072 . Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Cremation rites accorded. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family.
