Vickie Lynn Stevens

SOUTH BELOIT - Vickie Lynn Stevens, age 65, of South Beloit, IL and formerly of Rockton/Roscoe area passed away peacefully at home with her devoted husband by her side on Monday January 3, 2022 after bravely battling a long illness. Born in Waterloo, IA on July 27, 1956 to Robert Eugene & Jacqueline Bulmer (Frost). Warm, welcoming and outgoing, Vickie made instant friends with anyone she met and always made you feel at home. She enjoyed crafting, bingo, bird watching, and shoes.  She was known for her style and ability to pull off anything including leopard print.  She enjoyed many things, but her true pride & joy was spending time with her family, friends, and adoring her beloved grandchildren. She will remain forever in our hearts as a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, Gregory Alan Stevens; children, Alona (Tyler Smart) McClenthen , Ashley (Kyle) Pond and David (Courtney Parker) Stevens; grandchildren, Trinity, Elijah, Gavin, Olivia, Ethan, Aden and Dane; father, Robert (Donna) Bulmer; siblings, Bret (Cindi Zelle), Robert, Bruce & Ann Bulmer and Carol-Ann Nielsen; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her mother, Jacqueline Frost; and granddaughter, Destiny Grace.

Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at a later date where we will celebrate and laugh together as we share memories.  Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at Northern IL Hospice, Agrace Hospice, Fair Oaks, and UW Health NI Swedish American for their exceptional care, love and support over the years.
