Waltraud Stein

SOUTH BELOIT – Waltraud "Omi" Stein, age 90, of South Beloit passed away peacefully on Wednesday March 27, 2019. Born in Wuppertal, Germany on April 15, 1928 to Karl & Amanda Alexi (Br ümann). An avid gardener who enjoyed birdwatching and cooking, specializing in traditional German food. Beloved grandmother and dear friend; she will remain in our hearts forever.

She is survived by grandchildren, Tami (Brian) Goad & Troy (Mindy) Stein; great-grandchildren, Brandon Goad, Tyler Stein, Madelyn Stein & Joseph Luckey. She is predeceased by her husband, 2 sons & parents.
