William Earl Cook

ROCKFORD – William Earl Cook, age 68, of Rockford passed away Tuesday October 15, 2019. Born on May 26, 1951 in Tunica, MS to William Best & Eunice Cook (Winters). Bill enjoyed fishing and his exotic herb garden, but most of all he adored his grandsons. Beloved father, grandfather, brother, companion and dear friend; he will remain in our hearts forever.

He is survived by his loving friend & dear companion, Katherine Bennett; children, Tyler Cook & Christina Bang-Cook; grandchildren, Charlie, Joseph "JoJo" & Logan; siblings, Rick (Carol) Cook, Daniel (De) Gorsuch and Connie Palmer; and numerous nieces & nephews. He is predeceased by his parents; and sisters, Gail Dover and Brenda Cook.

Memorial Services held Thursday October 17, 2019 at 4:00 PM at the Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3 ^rd Avenue, Rockford; with visitation from 3:00 PM until the time of services at 4:00 PM. Cremation rites accorded. Memorials to the family.
